There are many golf equipment companies advertising their “score-reducing clubs”, however, I saw several features offered by Ontic Golf Group, LLC that I had not seen with other putter companies. The bottom of the putter has two “toe-heel balanced bars” that assist the proper positioning of the putter on the ground, resulting in a putter that sits flat on the green – every time! The balance bars also eliminate putter drag. And, lastly, the balance bars assist the golfer in positioning the hands and shaft properly to ensure a stroke that is on the proper path. Ontic offers options regarding the weight of their designs. I love the Ontic Putter -- it is the most solid putter I have tried!

For some reason I switched and tried another brand this Spring, but switched back after a horrid first round of putting in the West Michigan Amateur. The next 36 holes I used the Ontic and made a great comeback and finished 2nd by one stroke! I putted well all summer, and my handicap stayed at +4 all year. Bernie - Just a quick note to give you feedback on the M-Pulse.....
1) I have never made so many putts, especially in practice, from all distances; I attribute this to using a very flat lie; it has worked well for me.
2) I have never had much success getting a putter lie set the way I like it so the head sits flat on the putting surface; this is automatic with M-Pulse.
3) The M-Pulse lets one experiment with a variety of lies; very inconvenient with a normal putter (bending the shaft, etc)
4) If nothing else, the M-Pulse lets me know exactly what my lie needs to be if I want to try other putters, however, at this point I am not interested in trying any other putters. Thanks for a great product, Tom N. Florida |
